Rubber spacer material

I want to start using vulcanized rubber spacer material between my handles and tang to add some color.

What is the thickness most commonly used, .30 or .20/.15?

I like to use .030. But you can stack 2pcs or more of .015 together as long as you use a little glue between layers.

I think you meant vulcanized fiber, not rubber...
Most knife suppliers have it in thinner sizes.
