RUCK off to the SPA

I like the rustic look .... some pics of a minty ruck and spa treated beater ruck .. If you look at the beater in the right light it has a iridescent look to it throughout the blade..

I am thinking about spray painting this here Drunkin' Rusty Ruck with this paint that chemically changes the rust into a sandable primer.. This is my little project blade.. really anything goes ... or,
hmm, just may leave it looking nice and rustic.. hmmmm I just don't know... I'll go beat it up and make a fire tonight and think about the future of this beautiful piece of infi .

I must add .. I could not get the blade to fully rust, even with submerging it in 104 degree water will a lot of chlorine for 12 hours straight.. .INFI is very weird stuff. Other portions of the blade was virtually like stainless steel as far as oxidation goes..Interesting..
 
UJ. did you strip that Ruck and stop there, or did you try to sand it down at all?

Since it's all rusty and ugly, I would be happy to take it off your hands, and let you get back to the ladies.
 
If I were you I would sand it down and mirror it. Here's one I did on a SY Dogfather.

Imagine how cool a mirrored Ruck would be. If I had a second it would get that treatment.
 
if i were Jarvis, i would chop concrete blocks with it on U tube, put it on the exchange at a discount price and let me buy it and make it so Fresh!!!! Double CUT with polished convex edge!!! De ja VOOOO!!

I recommend Perry's deli, get the corned beef and pastrami......BUT, leave your cell phone off :eek: (Google it) and yes, I've been there :D :thumbup: It's delicious :cool:

All I did was strip the Ruck and beat it up .. I need to keep this one around .. Its my party knife ! :D:D

I was thinking something along those lines... For the most part I would like to do the mods myself.. Just something simple.. Maybe I'll pop off the handles and put a hand satin finish on the entire blade.. That would keep me busy for many hours.. Also I was thinking about sending it down the street to Tim Horan and have him slap on translucent G11 handles.:eek:.

Lol. I know! I just love her and she is so photogenic! C4, I did hold her out of the Steel Heart beauty review thread!!!! She is like a Vette! steals the show in every parking lot!!

Alright lol i'll look it up...i'm going there for a bowling tournament so I should have plenty of spare time :thumbup:
