In an old thread I posted a video of how a GW can hold up to being smashed on a concrete floor. There was not much damage at all.
So now I decided to show you folks how a GW can hold up to a steel post.
Overall it held up well on the rounded part of the post.
But.......................
Then I decided to give it a go on a threaded Steel fitting that held the two post together.... LOL, not good.. There was some extreme denting and also noticed the hammer dug into the polished spine...
Solution..
I hammered out the edge to realign it.
Then began to steel it out with a ceramic rod
Finally I used a sharpening stone on 35 degree angle in a vice.
Total of 20 minuets was spent restoring the edge to scary sharp.
It looks like the edge on my mint GWSE now
Skelly GW before....
Skelly after....
Skelly GW Video 1 and 2

I realize the second video is a bit ghetto. no sound, frame skip. don't have time to fix now.. maybe later..
