Let's assume a right handed person wants a folding knife that can be opened and closed easily with one hand. This person does not like liner locks nor frame locks.

Naturally Benchmade's various axis lock knives would be a good option. I can also think of Buck's Marksman with its strap lock. What else though? Are there other options for good one handed open/close once we eliminate the frame/liner lock?

Basically all of them... Backlock, compression, ball bearing, bolt action, powerlock, triad, arc lock, ram lock...

Back locks, compression lock, caged ball bearings.

Edit: Beat to the punch.:D

Yup. I can easily operate a lockback with one hand. Compression lock is just a wonderful thing as well.

Interestingly enough our first three are the same and in the same order :).

OP: since basically all locks are one handed righty friendly, pick a lock or knife and we can tell you all about it.

Interesting indeed. Though you win the thread for being first and more thorough.
