I just have to tell you about this place. The knife sales are run by Frank, one of the most knife-knowledgable, nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. His prices have ALWAYS left me thinking "What a GREAT DEAL I just got!" after leaving his shop. He has EVERYTHING that is HOT! And if he doesn't have it, he goes the extra mile to try to find it for you. Sometimes, he gets product that is so new, I haven't even heard of it yet. This statement is not to be taken lightly as I research the coming of new knife products quite tenaciously. BF helps me a great deal in this endeavour. Anyway, I've bought literally dozens of knives from this guy and I've yet to be dissappointed by high price or bad quality. In my book, Ruff's is a CLASS ACT!

I have to say that Ruff`s has always done right by me.I`ve been buying knives from them for some time and they have always delivered as promised.They actually indicate Clip orientation in their catalogs,which satisfies a pet peeve of mine.Sure wish they`d get on the net

Sorry,I can no longer say the same.I had been a customer of Frank's for about 2 years,spending a couple thousand dollars with him.I recently placed an order (about $250 worth of stuff) and when I got the order decided to return a couple of things.I got a call from him the following week, asking why I was returning them.I said because they turned out not to be what I expected.He then said "WELL,NOW THAT MEANS I HAVE TO TRY TO SELL THEM TO SOMEBODY ELSE.I GUESS I'LL SEND YOU A REFUND,BUT I'M GOING TO CANCEL THE SPECIAL ORDER YOU PLACED,AND TAKE YOU OFF MY MAILING LIST".I said "okay,fine,but running a business means occasionally you will get a return,no other dealer I deal with has a problem with My returning something",He then said goodbye.If he's going to act this way when a customer is unsatisfied,he did me a service by removing my name from his list.His prices are low,but MJS,CONFEDERATE,and a few others who advertise with Bladeforums are lower.If you do order from him,REMEMBER,DON'T RETURN IT,He just might take you off his mailing list too!

Well,
The folks at Ruff's have done it again.
I just bought a Starmate for under a $100.00, an Outdoor Edge Impulse for under $40.00 and a Hobbit Fang for under $38.00. Man I love going to that place!!

My aunt tina and uncle bill know personally and they are great people and whenever i need a knife i will be visiting mr frank.
 
I don't know if this is a record but, wow! Fourteen years after the previous post and you call the thread back from the dead to add ... nothing.
