Acquired a Super Redhawk... But it came with no scope rings. Guy I got it from said he did not get any. Called Sturm/Ruger, told them about it, They are sending me a set free.

That's Customer Service!

mark....i have had similar experiences with ruger's customer service....many times they will lose their ass to help a customer even when the customer has obviously abused and neglected the firearm....what more can you ask?...they gave me a free set of rings for my ruger number 1 when i literally lost mine during a move....feverdoc
 
What blade steel is the Ruger Redhawk made of? I am not familiar with this knife.

Its a wicked 7-1/2 inches of stainless steel with a combination kraton/walnut slab grip. The edge could use some work, but what it lacks in sharpness, it more than makes up for in weight. It has a different curve angle between the handle & barrel, oops I mean blade. It has a large loop of steel under the point where the handle attaches to the ahhhhh, blade. It has some interesting accessories that I'm still learning how to use. I tried to chop a 2X4 with it, did not work at all. I figure something out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
