Ruger 10/22 pistol

Check rugers website. Seems to be a production thing. I think you cant own one if you live in the usual restricted states. If not though- any gun shop should be able to get you one.

I wonder how well they shoot.

Or would you just be better off with a Long Gun (rifle).

I dont know. Ill bet it could be a tack driver though. Trigger in this one I handled felt pretty crisp, and it has the extended mag release on it factory.

I think they're cool too.

If I can hit Varmints with it, I want one too.:)

If they are built like that at the factory, and have never been assembled as a rifle, they are considered a pistol. So they would be as legal as any other pistol as long as they didn't have a shoulder stock added.

You can also buy a 10/22 aftermarket receiver, that has never been registered as a rifle, and build your own 10/22 pistol perfectly legally.
