Ruger 10/22

I've had one of the 10-22T heavy barreled models for about ten years or so. It tends to get a little dirty when I shoot it a lot, and it will have feeding problems, but other than that, it's great. I just take that as a sign that I need to take care of my babies a little better. Otherwise, I refer to it as my "Boredom Rifle." If I do my part, it will hit whatever it's aimed at, out to about seventy-five yards or so. Boring, see? But, after a day of my otherwise terrible shooting, it's a wonderful pick-me-up, so I don't go home all depressed, heh.

Good buy, that 10-22.

Love mine. I just started building it. It's a bone stock carbine with black plastic stock. Surprisingly, the trigger on mine is incredibly crisp and fairly light (it's definitely no where near 12lbs). I just put an old us made redfield scope on it, and did the poly buffer as well. Next will be the stock. I see that a lot of you like the hogue overmold. Does anyone have experience with the blackhawk stocks?

Hey guys sorry its been a few days since I've jumped on here. Thanks for all the great info and opinions. I've only thrown 500rds through it so far but I can definitely say its accurate as hell with iron sights and fun as all hell to shoot! The trigger doesn't bother me much because of what it is. I'm not a competitive shooter with the .22 so I can deal with it for the time being.. If it was my HK45 trigger I'd feel a little different lol

I bought that cheap BSA red dot and I haven't tried it out yet but I don't really like it just from playing around with it so far.

So I'm gonna check out that website and probably come back here with an empty bank account and tell all of you I hate you :D. But I know for sure that I want to get a scope, maybe a new trigger, a fiber optic for the front instead of the thing that's on there now, and I'm gonna see if anyone carries a 15rd mag because I live in New Jersey and we suck basically.

Oh and the Take Down has to be one of the coolest things ever. Disappears inside a back pack. And that's the reason I bought it, so I can throw it in my bug out bag or in my pack for a camping trip or whatever and have a survival gun. And plinking is always fun too :p

Oh just a little side question.. Does anybody make those pass through type scope rings that'll work on it? I'd like to be able to use my iron sights if need be while the scope is on. Or maybe I'm just nuts I don't know anymore.

Thanks again fellas. Lets see some more pics !!!!
