Ruger 10/22

I also have a couple Mosin-Nagants. My Finnish model is the best shooter, with a longer barrel and good fit/finish. I also have a "carbine" model with a flip out bayonet (M44). It looks cool, but it is a lousy shooter. I was told that it was made in China. I only fired one shot from it, and the muzzle blast was so intense, that everyone at the range looked over to see what I was shooting. The muzzle flash was bigger than a basketball. I figured it was better suited as a wall hanger.

I also picked up a 10/22 Heavy BBL in Stainless with synthetic stock a few years ago to teach my son to shoot. He was not interested, so sadly, it remains unfired. -Doug

I don't know about china, but look on top of the recivier and there should be a mark of some kind, it'll indicate the arsenal where it was made. To my knowledge china never made MN, but I've been wrong plenty of times. I know what you mean about the fireball, I've got an AK54, it's a semi auto AK style rifle in 7.62x54R, with a 16" barrel. Looks awsome at night. I also have a m38. it's the same size as the M44 with out the bayonet, it's the best shooter of the bunch, even with a little muzzel flash.

Sam, if you haven't found them yet Butler creek makes a clip reloader that loads the 25 rd clip in about 45 seconds. Very worth the money.

I'm not one for picatinny rails all over the place but that's HOT!!! what sight is that you got on there? I'm pretty good with mine for now, don't think I'll add anything else:

That's a neat setup you got there, but with a non-magnified optic, I'd suggest mounting it just behind the vertical fore grip to really appreciate the benefits of a reflex sight.

Increased field of view along with faster target pick up will be a couple of things you'll notice right off the bat.

Better balance is another.

Safe shootin' and always have fun,

Taylor
