Something else to pay for my daughter's trip to Japan.
I have a 1964 (by serial number records) Ruger 44 Magnum Carbine. This is the model that most folks refer to as a "10/44" although the carbine only has a (tube fed) 4+1 capacity. This is NOT the Deerstalker or the Deerfield. Rifle is used. I think it's taken around 30 hogs, 2 deer, a squirrel (headshot!), a rabbit (not a headshot; not much left either), a few cinder blocks, and a 73 Chevy Vega.
The front sight blade shot off some years ago. Even though Midway has replacements for about 6 bucks I've never replaced it as I have a 4 power Bushnell scope mounted on the rifle.
Everything on the gun is clean and tight and it still shoots great. Winchester Dual Bond 240 grain loads dropped the two most recent hogs like a bus fell on them.
SOLD!!!!
