Ruger Mark II disassembly

I have an old 1964 Mark 1. Once I downloaded the manual I had no problem getting it apart and it was FULL of gunk. Didn't look like anybody had ever cleaned it!!!!

i never touched mine after 5,000+ rounds, the way i see it i have my glock for ccw and ruger for practicing with jams etc. But it shoots fine with the quality cci's!

The kid and I put appx 400 rounds through my dad's Mark II Target and 600 through the 10/22 yesterday. He's 6 and I've got him popping empty 12 gauge shells at 30 yards with a front supported 10/22. He even helps with the clean up afterwards.

To stay on topic, dad's Mark II requires that the trigger be pressed at the last step, but assembly is smooth as can be.
