Recommendation? Ruger Revolver

Thanks @ Zieg. Nope, old style, its got it on the hammer. I bought it new and have had it its whole life. Carry it a lot on the ranch particularly if going back into the big country where there are lions, tigers and bears oh my.

In its old holster a couple of three weeks ago:

Its a convertible without being a convertible. As the 10mm works on half moon or full moon clips in this revolver so does the .40 cal. No change in accuracy that way. Stellar with both.
Just love that 610 wouldn't mind owing one some day as of now just a glock 29.

Just reading up on the new Ruger 10mm last night. Looks to be a good one too.

Ruger's GP100 Match Champion is still a 6 shot but they are very nice revolvers ...

I also really like S&W's 627 Pro Series ... an 8 shot ... a bit heavier as it's an N Frame but the slab sided barrell helps take a bit of weight off and it shoots great too.

And doesn't the GP-100 have a seven shot version in .38spl/.357mag? That's what I'd go for there. Combat revolver perfection!
