Ruike 801
blade steel - 14c28n - 55HRC file just ( just ) bites .

Hey hey ! Looks great , feels great , flips great ..... And if you stopped there ........ It's a great knife !
And if you really believe that , then you have probably read enough !

Performance is Ordinary ! 150 slices on a very sharp factory edge .
80 grit wet stone grinder edge , ground to match the factory bevel .. That returned a 200 slice roll !
Yeah , where the blade was digging into the wood , the edge rolled . 14c28n is not a tough steel , at least not in my experience ! ( my knives ) . I really wonder if it's such a great knife steel ?
Stropped back with the greatest of ease , I guess there is that ? ( The strop back ) .
Yeah , I gave away my first 801 Cos it just blew chunks for the $$ spent . This one was about 40% cheaper than my first 801 and it's still hard to justify !
For this money you could buy something better , Ganzo , CH , QSP , to name a few .
For me the only redeeming feature was the strop back . ( Performance related )
Aside the performance , this knife is great ! But , if you consider it from a performance perspective , it's very ordinary and hard to justify !
