Rukus winewood scales - defective

I ordered some winewood scales from New Graham to dress up my Rukus. Not NG's fault, but they were defective. Who would have known they have to be routed out in the back to make room for some G10 extensions that go below the visible handle? Probably the folks that make the scales! Well, the wood scales didn't have any. Here's some photos. I'm sending them back to NG, obviously. Incidentally, they come in a Benchmade blue box complete with a little torx tool and some locktite. First photo is an older photo of the Rukus I had, for those who haven't seen it before.

Bummer, DRider!

I've had the winewood scales on mine for a year or so - they fit perfectly. I think you must have just gotten one that somehow slipped through without that particular milling.

Are you sending them back to NG? I'm sure they'll take care of it for you!
