Rumors/Info on the Gayle Bradley 2 ?

Hard to argue w/ an example like that. That is one of my grail Spyders. Yours is very fine, great color on that.

I wish that was my knife, it's from google for an example :D. I love the blue and purple hues on that particular knife. I had a regular non-fluted TI Millie, that was probably my favorite Spyderco. I really need to acquire another TI Millie....

My ti Millie is one of my all time favorite spydercos! Certainly my favorite to fondle! :D. I tend to sell and trade my knives off on a whim but that particular Millie is a non negociable KEEPER!!

And FWIW, I prefer the regular ti model over the fluted...more manly! ;)

IDK, I like `em both. I do appreciate the steel reinforced lockbar. Am a little let down they dont anodize the fluted version anymore....I like the flutes....does that make me a flutecake? :D That half G-10 framelock w/ the M4 is another sweetheart Id like to get....

Removing the finger choil will cover the tang issue. As for the cutout for the hole, if done on one slab will result in easier disengaging the lock, which is not what Gayle prefer. I'm not sure if they design it to cut out on both sides to make it still symmetrical. Should be doable, imagine Resilience without the huge cutout on the presentation side, and the lock side doesn't bury the hole.

I'm about to buy a second Bradley folder to put away in case I lose the one I have now. I wouldn't want any changes made in the original design. It seems perfect as it is and all the "improvements" suggested here are really unappealing to me. I think Mr Bradley's concept of a non-tactical knife that's built for work instead of play is a valid and refreshing concept. The only thing I would hope for is a Bradley folder with a 3" or sub-3" blade and the same basic design.

Really is a great knife. Never minded the steel frame, saves from having to add a steel reinforcement to Ti. And I like the weight. Would like to find an orig, w/ no milling.

I very much prefer the finger choil over the finger guard of the 2011 proto.
I really hope the GB-II won't have this guard.

I talked to a lady with Spyderco customer service yesterday and she was not aware of a Gayle Bradley II being made..........looks like it will be a while.

The big question is does it flick open. I have a spydie with a partially covered hole which is a non issue as it flicks open like an assisted. Just a little bit of force is all it takes and the blade flies open.

Yeah it's very much still in the design phase. The one they had at the show was not a final prototype. Eric said changes were going to be made but it sounds like it's definitely in the works. And as someone stated it was smaller, I think they meant thinner. It was the same length as the original based on holding it in hand.

I like everything about new GB 2 but the titanium liners, hope
they keep the steel liners.Weight was never issue for me.

The only question I have is how much is this going to cost me....it sounds like a lot.

I'd really like a GB with ZDP-189 blade and titanium handle with good grooves and jimping, all in Irish Green, no just kidding about the color, black is fine.
