I have a chance to purchase a used Baldor grinder at a steal of a price.
I already have a KBAC-24d VFD,
any problem running the Baldor thru my VFD?

here are the specs on the motor -

CAT.NO. 2048-153D
HP 1 1/2
VOLTS 208-230/460
PHASE 3
AMPS 5-4.6/2.3
HZ 50//60
RPM 3000//3600

thank you

The VFD will only support a 1 hp motor. You will either need to change the grinder motor to a 1hp (not recommended), or get a KBAC 27 VFD.

always learning.... :-)

Am I missing something here? What phase power is that VFD running on In/Out?

electrical knowledge is not my strong suit....

i'm running standard 110 volt (single phase) in and it powers a a Leeson 2 HP 3 phase out

so the way I understand it is my KBAC - 27D is suitable for this Baldor 1 1/2 HP motor that I'm thinking of purchasing.
I made a mistake and thought I had a -24D which apparently is only good for up to a 1 HP motor
