I agree about checking out some of the older models. I found a 1993-2 in my local shop and it is one of the nicest blades I own. Very different from what you have and I imagine they would be hard to find, but my favorite kershaw. Micarta and vg10 seki city made lockback with a sheath and a lanyard hole. Perfect gent's edc, non-threatening scalpel. But then it is not a one hander and no clip. Of course, there is always the rest of the onions, shallot, scallion, and a variety of finishes and damascus blades. If you are collecting, I'd check out some of the older higher end blades, or the newer blades that are less common. If you carry your blades every day sounds like your kershaw collection is off to a good start. A DWO lockback is a cheaper kershaw classic that you can still find at most online retailers. oh yeah, the 1993-2 is maybe close to 3.5 inches, not far off the skyline.. I guess it depends on the intent of your collecting: collectors that represent the evolution of the company, or just good blades to edc. - hayes
