He responded wanting to buy a knife I had for sale, on Feb 3rd.
please send me an address so I can ship out money tomorrow thanks. chris
my email is. . .
I emailed him my address multiple times. first time was on the 3rd. In fact I think I sent it twice that day, to both emails.
No reply.
So I sent it again on the 7th to both emails, again no reply.
I asked him what was going on on the 9th and stated I would have to put the knife back for sale if I didnt hear from him- no reply.
I finally emailed him on the 14th thanking him for wasting my time.

He has been active on bladeforums during this time, multiple times, the last time being this thursday afternoon.

I don't know what his game was, but he decided to ignore all my emails.
Worst communication ever-(none) and a big waste of my time.

I still haven't heard anything from him.

I recommend not wasting your time with this guy.:thumbdn: :thumbdn:

The process is real simple. Be an adult.

1. If ya want it and make a commitment. . . . . .complete the transaction.

. . . . or. . . . . .

2. If cognitive dissonance creeps in. . . . .have the nads and or guts to tell the seller.

Those that elect to deviate from the simple adult standards are. . . . . . .well. . . . . .______________________ !

People like this get to me.
I was just on the buyer end of this type thing.I posted to a for sell thread saying I would take the knife. No responce for a couple days so I spent the cash.I then got an email with payment info.I went ahead and got the knife. The way I saw it buying it was just the right thing to do even though the person was on line several times after I posted without contacting me.I figure he just missed seeing my post.
I am also on the selling end with a couple lanyards, someone said they would send out a MO last week but it has not arrived and they do not respond to questions about it.

I've had this happen to me as well many times (not with this individual you mentioned though, I know not who he is). Where I get no response at all. I always keep the item pending and keep backup sales on hand. If I don't hear from the joker in a reasonable amount of time, like by the weekend then back on the market it goes. Unless I know the person of course.

It seems to be happening everywhere. Some fellow over on AR15.com started a "tire kickers" thread for these inconsiderate folks.

yah, tell me about it. elsewhere i've had someone low ball me on an offer, and after some appropriate haggling, mutually agreed on a number.

his response? well, since i caved (i.e. was a little flexible), he double-lowballed. excuse me? then he bought a similar item but not as good item a few days later and never got back to me. refused to fess up to. i've been tempted to give him a -1 comment, but have abstained thus far. i'm "still too flexible" i guess.
