The Runt arrived today, safe and sound. I really like the way Andy packaged it. It was wrapped with paper and tied with twine and included a business card for Fiddleback Forge.

The sheath is very well made and good looking, to boot. If I am not mistaken, it is made by JRE whose products I highly recommend.

The knife is a beautiful little thing. Of course, I always am a softie for Runts, anyway! LOL It is a well crafted little neck knife which showcases Andy's bullseye lanyard hole. I wanted my first piece from Andy to be representational of his work and I got a doozy. I think it is harder to create a little knife because there is less room for mistakes. Well, I can tell you that I certainly can't find any mistakes here!

Thank you, Andy, for this handy little knife. Also, I'd like to publicly thank you for generously agreeing to hold this knife for me until the first of the month. Finally, I'd like to thank you for the veteran's discount. I truly appreciate it, Andy, and am honored. I look forward to buying more of your knives in the future. Thank you!

You're right about little knives being a PITA. There is literally no heat sinking, so you get burned a lot. Also, there is little time on the belt to get a flow going. So the grinds are tough.

I'm very glad you like it! And I very much appreciate your service.

SWEET!

i gotta ask, you using double sealed cartridge bearings for lanyard tubes? if so that is very cool!
