Thanks anyway. I'll just look forward to feasting my eyes on the next images you care to upload.

Just beautiful. Bill's work always get's my attention.

Hey Greg. Thanks for posting the photos of my work. It is always a pleasure to see you at the Blade show. As most of you guys know I love working with stag. In the last few years good stag has become harder and harder to come by. I have to buy stag mostly based on shape in order to get it to fit the knives right. However this year at The Blade Show the room was full of wonderful stag. When I find really nice stag I use it as is on my knives, if its questionable as far as color I send it out to Culpepper and Co, In North Carolina and have it dyed. They have worked out the process of dying stag and bone over the years. In my opinion no one does it better. I have spent a lot of time over the years trying to dye it myself and some makers do there own dying, but for me I would rather leave that to the experts and spend my time building knives. Hey Elliot never give up. That stockman could appear at your door someday. Thanks everyone for the kind remarks on Greg`s knives. Check out Culpeppers site at www.knifehandles.com they are good folks to deal with.
Bill Ruple
