Anybody looking to start shaving with a straight?
I have a Gold Dollar 84 selected, sharpened, and smoothed out by Ken Rup of ruprazor.com. The razor comes with Rup's standard "Filly" strop. Everything is like new and 100% shave-ready. I used the razor for a few shaves but decided that straight razor shaving is not for me. I sent the razor back to Rup for re-honing and have not used it since. I should note that Rup's lifetime hone warranty stands for razors that have been exchanged.
Below are a images of the razor and strop from Rup's website. Ideally, I'd like to swap this for a new Fallkniven U2 or PE Griptilian (I can add if necessary). But I am open to anything and everything.
