I managed to talk Russ out of his own personal hunting/camp knife last year, with every intention of using the knife. Somehow, I can't seem to get myself to do anything more than swipe the edge on a fine diamond stone and slice a little cardboard. Compound that with my desire for a new truck, and here I am selling this knife. Russ actually used this knife to clean a deer and then refinished it before selling it to me. Specs are as follows:

Blade is forged out of O1 tool steel. Blade length is just shy of 6.25" from tip to front of guard. Ricasso area is long enough to choke up, while still having about 5.5" of cutting edge. Differential heat treat, and you can see a visible hardening line(although not visible in my crappy pics here). There is a nice swedge on the spine, but it's purely cosmetic. Not even close to being sharp. Blade is stamped with Russ's Journeyman mark on back side and E.R. Andrews II on the other side.

Stainless single guard with a few colored spacers, and one of the best looking pieces of stabilized Bocote for the handle, with a single stainless pin. Sheath is handstiched heavy leather, and is set up for basically just sticking in your waist or jacket pocket. No belt loops. Overall length of the knife is around 11". This is an excellent size carry knife. I would call it a large hunter/small camp knife. As most folks know, Russ's work is highly sought after, due to his meticulous fit and finish. Basically, you buy one of Russ's knives whenever you can find one available. I guarantee you won't be disappointed in this knife.

This knife is in excellent to near mint condition, with really only very light sharpening scratches(only visible by looking closely at the edge) keeping it from being mint. SOLD. shipped Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation to any U.S. address. Addresses outside U.S., actual shipping charges apply.
