Russell Easler and stag

I was just over at Knifeart's site looking at the March offerings. I must say, Russ Easler sure has some great stag on his knives. I wonder how much of a stockpile he has, and how it is that his stockpile seems to be of better quality than most.

Holy schmoly! 21 stag handled knives on one dealer's site? I think he might be the real cause of the stag shortage!

Russ told me last year in NY he has enough left for the rest of his life.
That was before his good friend Ron Gaston had to stop making knives and I think he picked his supply up too.

Right now I am seeing a lot of stag being available from some suppliers. I don't know where it all came from, but there isn't that much of a shortage. If you want nice stag I know where you can get it.
