I've seen some very nice looking knives from Russell Green River Works coming up around the web and I was thinking about putting together a deal for one of their stag barlows. So, before I seal the deal I just wanted to find out what the BF forumites thought about this company. Any and all info would be a great help.

Thanks Again!

A just found this through a Google, search, but it only tells about Green River's past; I have no idea what's going on with it in the present day. I know that Green River brand knives are being produced in Solingen and sold on several websites, but other than that... It would be nice if a forum member filled us in on what the company's like today, why production moved to Solingen, whether or not it's the same company or just the brand name, e.t.c, e.t.c, e.t.c.

Got one of their Solingen made Barlows in sawn bone. The quality is very high indeed, very well executed knife. I suspect they are made by Böker Germany. well worth a try.
