Beautiful spear.
I like that one almost as much -or better- than the bear daggers on page one.
 
Usually there is a 'cross pin' or the like perpendicular to the haft to guard against an animal slipping up the spear - is this not deemed necessary here or is it omitted for aesthetic reasons?

Cross pin used to wild boar spears, to bear usually not.
