If you respect the original maker or the knife industry as a whole I would not buy that, nor would I support that website. Clones, Fakes whatever you want to call them are really not cool and can make the knife hobby more frustrating than it should be. It may not seem like a big deal but once you start seeing fakes popping up at places like Cabelas you know it's a problem.

Why would anyone buy this blatant rip-off? God knows what it is even made of.

This is great though...

-for safety, do not take it by hand when knife drop down.
-Do not test sharp by finger.
Note:
This product is Made In China which different from Russian,Please think it over before order,Thanks!

You consider buying a ~180 $ counterfeit knife after spending what? 3000$ on the real thing? What? Why? I WOULD understand the other way around, ala "Oh I wanna see if I like the ergos before I spend three grand on a knife" but to see how well the fake holds up to your real knife? What do you get out of it? I see it either being A. Crappy, then you feel better about your purchase or B. It's almost as good and you regret your purchase? I don't know...

There are a number of conspiracy theories that some Shirogorov knives are actually made in China. One piece of evidence cited in these theories is that the Chinese knockoffs are too good - too close to the real thing. I could see buying knockoffs to test this theory.
