I received this e-mail and just wondered if It was legit. All he seems to want is better pictures. ?

"Dear Sir!
I'm freelance writer for russian knife realted magazines Prorez (http://www.knifemagazine.ru) and Klinok Bulatny (http://www.klinok-blade.ru). I've already wrote and published 34 articles. I'm working on the article about tomahawk. As a part of it I would like to write about your tomahawks. Previously my articles opened russian market for Mercworx (they even have magazine cover at their site http://www.mercworx.com/EN/Press.html) and Timberline. Main problem is that I don't have high resolution photos (300 dpi or more in JPEG or TIFF) of your tomahawks. So if you can help me with this I'd greatly appreciate it. All credits will be given in the article and commentaries to photos.
Best regards, Dmitry Samoylov."

Sounds 100% legit to me. Write back and ask specifically what he wants. I followed a link and saw the cover shot of the Merkworx. He's not BS'ing you.

Good for YOU!

I'm a regular reader of "Prorez" magazine, and Dmitry Samoylov is really an author, whose article's get published there. Not sure about "opening Russian market", but soon after this article was published, the Merxworx folders began to appear in Russian shops.
So -- sounds fully legit for me.

Thanks Guys,

Dont guess it could hurt :)

Jim, could you send me an image of the hawk you shot at Blade ?
