Russian Knifemakers Guild has Forum now

The Russians put on a very prestigious show every year at the Kremlin, when you factor in that Moscow is now one of the most expensive cities to live in the world, you can imagine what some of these pieces run to ...... I enquired about a piece in 2003, it was $17k, with the makers work ranging from $7 to $30k. Its a big world!

You are right of course. It would be great if we could get more visibility into what's done outside the US and Europe.
 
WOW...some great looking knives in this thread. Incredible variety of skills displayed amongst them.

I wish I were better at languages!
