Replied to in another venue. Valuations are not permitted at your user level. 4th class items were the most common and awarded to virtually all that served.

Zlatoust arms factory never blued dagger blades. Also, they never used this kind of etch.
Couple more things: this distributor used different logo, the inscription “For Bravery” is totally wrong because it must be chiseled. And there are more things that are wrong.

Looks like somebody spent lots of time making this dagger, it looks good, but it’s a replica. More like a fantasy dagger really ….. ;)

This look more like a long knife then a sword to me. I did a search & came up with

    http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=23819

The bluing seems wrong to me. RE the documentation, this could be produced by anyone with a printer. It's a copy, but you do have good pics and if you came up with the right story someone would buy it on eBAY. If you need a tax deduction some museum might take it. No serious collector is going to touch this thing. At any rate showing it at knife forums does not seem to be helping your cause. If there is a Comic Con coming up in your area, you might find a taker. Now that I think on it Comic Con is where this blade belongs.

Is replica, Comrade. I suggest selling to Gopnick, who will not know difference.
