This is a Russian 8-20X32 telescope. (Spyglass?) It is 12 1/2 inches long and weighs 13 oz. With good light, I have been able to spot .22 holes at 100 yards. It's not anywhere near as good as Zeiss, but it's not $1800 either.
It came in a hard plastic tube which is cracked at the bottom. I suspect that it happened when the base plug was inserted. I have the original Russian manual and an English translation.
