rust?? newb question

i have a paramiliatary im going on a camping trip next week for 5 days on the beach in hana maui super humid and salt everywhere in the air just wandering if my blade will rust bad?? what about a D2 blade (i know it would be worse than the s30v) just wanted to get ur guys thoughts on it

Nope, it won't, follow basic knife care and you probably won't see a spot.

Stick it in the sand or use it in salt water and you'll see why D2 is nearly stainless.

Feeling insecure about the pivot area and other hard to reach places? rub it down with some 3 in 1 or whatever, WD-40 small bottle would work too, easy to flush it out.

Make sure to clean it really well when you get home. Some break free will take care of any rust if you get some. I usually carry an H1 spydie while by the water... I lived in Maui for almost a year but am back on Big Island now.
