rust prevention test summer 2023 edition

Seems your coconut oil concoction and Frog Lube preform similarly for a reason.

Day 80, there are couple of really small rust spots starting on the frog lube now. Humid everyday with some scattered storms.

We've just about washed all the prevention off of everything now.

The wife prob saying "When's he gonna get that dang rusty pole off the back porch, freakin weirdo!"

K kane22 , thank you for running this experiment. I've always heard good things anecdotally about Frog Lube, but have never tried it. It appears that I should.

It's not food safe, but I'm curious how Strike Hold would fare. I should buy some Frog Lube and give it a shot.

100 days! That's basically all summer here. The top three were the same as last year. Frog lube outlasted everything by a couple weeks.

Hit em all with a scrubber pad and some water. Frog lube looks good, followed by my homemade beeswax mix. Not a lot of difference between the rest.
