Hey,
Just got my Spyderco G-10 bushcraft 4 days ago and have only use it a little but the blade is already starting to rust, how do I get rid of it and stop the blade rusting a again.
Thanks

Try some Flitz or Maas polish.

Is it rust or patina. If it's red rust (the bad kind), I'd follow the suggestions and use a polishing compound of sorts. If its patina (good corrosion), I'd let it go.

0000 steel wool works well if it's just a few spots. It won't affect the finish but will take the rust off.

Or brass/bronze wool (or a chore-girl copper scubbing pad), ideally lubed with something like Kroil. Whatever you do, do not use the chemical rust removers. Most contain phosphoric acid and will etch the steel.

Get some CLP and let it soak for a day or so.

You didn't say where you are or how you are using the knife. It is carbon steel so it will rust relatively easily. You can oil it and that will work pretty well, and you can even get oil specially made for knife protection. There are also wax products made for knife protection. WD40 is about the weakest corrosion protection you can get but even it will work if you put it on frequently and if you live in an area that isn't real wet. I used to spray it on liberally, let it set a few minutes, then wipe it off and I never had any corrosion problems in my area.

I agree with rycen, Flitz is a fine choice.

Another vote for Flitz. I always put a coat on my blades and have never had a problem with any of them developing rust. Also, those magic erasers will take off the rust that Flitz may not be able to by itself. Another layer of protection that I also use is the Tuf-Glide infused Tuf-Cloth.
