1. Rustic bronze spinning top

Price: $SOLD
0 available

This is a small, manually machined, one piece bronze top with a 1/4" stainless steel ball bearing contact point. It spins very smoothly and I'm able to easily get over 4 minutes of spin on a mirror. It has a hand rubbed patina applied for an antique look. As with most of my items, this spinning top is a one off and therefore unique and one of a kind. If you want to have something no one else in the world has, this could be for you.

Materials:
C954 Aluminum Bronze
Stainless Steel Ball Bearing

Dimensions:
Stem diameter - 0.160"
Body diameter - 0.760"
Overall height - 1"

Does the bigger bearing perform differently than the smaller bearings you've been using?

The bigger bearing seems to make the top "wander" more when on a flat surface. On my concave makeup mirror, it remains stationary. This particular top is very stable and smooth spinning (even while wandering) but I think that is more a function of the shape/design than the bearing in this case.
