Here is 1095 steel fully forged into a long slim fighter in a rustic but refined finish. The blade is differentially heat treated with a edge hardness of approximately 60 Rc. Hammer marks were left on the flats of this knife and tree bark texture was added with a grinder to achieve the observed finish. I flat ground the blade to near scandi and used a slight secondary bevel to make it easy to resharpen. The tang is slightly tapered, also forged in, and the balance is outstanding. The handle scale are stabilized curly maple.
SPECS:
Steel: 3/16" thick 1095
Blade Lenght: 7" of cutting edge
Overall Lenght: 12.6"
Handle: Stabilized cury maple scales bolted to knifes full tang
Sheath: 8/9 ounce brown leather with right hand carry loop.
Price SOLD and $10 shipping anywhere in US; International shipping available by quote
