these are Old Hickory ,blades are old. Rust removed in an electrolysis tank . I put book matched maple with brass pins ,and secret recipe oil finish Result is old timey rustic look. Smaller is 11-5/8" with 6-7/8" of edge and thin stock, slight flex out near tip but by no means a flexible fillet ,its just thinner stock blade. The bigger one is 12-7/8" OAL with 8" of edge had heavier rust Good deal for someone $75. shipped in USA for the pair Paypal fee's included too

Looks very good.
I’ve been thinking of doing something extremely similar to a pile of mine. I think I can still see some of their “rectangular forge” marks. Did you only do electrolysis to remove rust ?

The blades came in a large lot I bought. The fella told me he used his eloctrolysis tank to remove the rust Prior to hafting I rubbed them down with some fine steel wool. Nothing fancy I think the blades are real old though I only sharpened them just a little bit & they immediately took a keen edge
