Rustic Southwestern-style Personal Carry

This is a little personal carry done in a soutwestern style. The blade is approximately 4 1/2", and is forged from 1084. The oval guard and ferrule are hammer textured nickel silver. The handle is curly maple.

I don't think I've ever seen that dramatic a Southwest blade profile on such a small knife. I love it!

Yes, sharp clip.

I used Birchwood Casey's Brass Black on the textured hardware, then dusted off the high spots with 2000 grit paper.

Just to echo the other comments ... that blade profile is fantastic, and the "rustic" finish on the guard and ferrule compliments it very well, and I would imagine is quite practical on an edc. Well done Terry.

That's really sweet. Love the upswept blade and clip grind, and the guard is eyecatching and different.
