a post on blade forums by Mr. Russell referred readers to check out Mr. Preston's folders. so i did and have ordered a 2 bladed trapper style with a wharncliffe instead of a spey. the pics. on his website certainly look like well made knives and my email correspondance with Rusty is very positive and straight forward. no timetable yet as to when my knife will be ready, but waiting is part of the fun.

any comments on my choice of a large clip and large wharncliffe. i'm a relative novice but it seems to me a useful one for EDC on a 90 acre mountain property; and a combo i don't already have. thanks for any advice, rolando
