Also, I think i should point out for our newer members of the HI family, this knife is not actually rusty. It was named in honor of our late great moderator and dear friend of Uncle Bill who went by the name Rusty. The SD is shorthand for sgian-dubh.

Yes, I had to Google that spelling;) It's based on the small scottish dagger traditionally worn at the top of a stocking.
Lovely little knife. I have a commemorative 250,000 post edition from many moons ago. This one is very tempting.

I don't recall another Rusty SD with a horn handle? Seems like all the previous ones had wood handles?

Good eye, I don't recollect seeing a horn handle one either. I could work a little magic on that handle.

Mine had a horn handle. Made by Bura. I have it somewhere, but I can't remember. Wore it in my boot for a number of years.
