I guess a feller could say, "Mines bigger than Sarge's.";)

No fair, it was cold when I measured mine. :o :D
Seriously though, the variation in tolerances is well within the acceptable range for hand made items. One of the things I really worried about is the kami's perception that us guys always think bigger is better. It would neither be unique, nor surprising, if the first batch of "sgian dubhs" had showed up the size of a Roman pugio.

I need not have worried myself, as Yuvraj did an absolutely masterful job on these. He may be a new kid on the block at Bir Ghorkha, but his skill and experience is well reflected in his work. I also noted the excellent blade temper and edge hardness, so I look forward to the results of your etching experiment.

Dick I will try too get a few pix up later today if I can, may have to charge some more batteries to do so and I'll put some in the charger right now!!!! Doh!!!!
Slaps hand up aside head.:grumpy: ;) :D

The gripes I have are minimal and shouldn't extirpate anyone's desire to get one of these fine little knives!!!!

I do hope I can get a decent pic of the wood grain where I can see the face of a wee bonnie gremlin or maybe a wee troll to see if anyone else can see it as well.  We'll see.;) :D

We are very lucky to be living here at this time, with these folks as friends:D I don't take it for granted for a minute.

Hayv my friend, Hayv!!!!

I can see the pics now too. Real nice (Why am I here at the office at 7:00am when I'm supposed to be on vacation? And why am I on the internet instead of getting done and leaving??).

Think that handle can be done in antler? My perennial favorite for small HI knives?

Beautiful blades! They will make a wonderful tribute!:D I hope some come up for sale so I can get one also. This place has been home for so long, things like this bring back to the forefront WHY I love it here!:o
Thanks for all the hard work than went into getting this on the road.

Rusty always liked a back up weapon, even back ups to back ups. I'm sure he's pleased.
