Mr. Lovett, I have two R.W.Loveless knives from the lawndale home work shop that date back to 1967. My Husband took me to bob's home where we watched him temper some blades and actually picked the ivory handle for his fighter. I am looking to sell these knives but want a value and and a how to sell them, the other knife is a utility knife. I realize that this is an old post and hope I can still reach you.

Talk about a blast from the past!

For what ever reason, my ability on log as mlovett was lost when embraq took over our or system here. Many here on the forum treated me like a noob, although I had been posting for YEARS! Lol!!

I don't post here much any more. Way too much forum politics for me. Some great people though. Just a few have ruined it.

Mam, you can reach me at 254-865-9956 evenings. ( I work at night, just as Bob did.)

The ultra deep grinds were done on a old square wheel grinder using the bottom wheel on the flat platent. What a pita!

Here is a pic of the Sub Hilt that started the whole thing with Bob, Jim and I. It was number 002. It is the one Bob is inspecting in one of the previous pic's. 2004 or 05 I think. ( I've learned a "LOT" since this one!!!)

oop's, My bad. I just checked the pic. The Loveless Shop and I each made an Iron Wood handled Big Bear, that were virtually identical. I still get the pic's confused. Still, a several year old Big Bear!
