I was wondering if anyone may have seen this article about Steve Ryan knives in the new Handgunner (or something).? I had never seen/heard of him or his work. Very nice stuff, geometric/artsy. Any thoughts on the unique designs used on his folder scales? Thanks, MCK

The scales... Non-slip, sure. Comfortable, ??? Might gather dirt easily and be difficult to clean? I might prefer the security of the grip to be accomplished by the *shape* of the handle, not the texture. Otherwise, very interesting blade-designs. Certainly food for thought! But how about the sharp false-edge on a liner-lock (they were liner-locks, weren't they?)? Maybe some doubts.
