Just got a Model 2 tactical from Ryan Wilson. I haven't heard much said about Ryan on the forums, so I thought I'd share my thought about my new knife. I haven't been able to really use this knife yet, but my first impression of it is; it's a good, but not pretty, knife that that is solid and well made with D2 steel. Very secure feeling micarta handle with an integral guard. Seems like a very useful utility/fighter. Came with a well made IWB kydex sheath. I'm very pleased with this knife over all and like the looks of his model #5 folder. I think his knives are a great value and very much worth checking out.

I have a small Ryan Wilson Model #3 and its SWEET. Ceramic bead blasted finish, green linen micarta in a nice sharkskin sheath for very reasonable $.

Grinds are even, pretty sharp D-2 blade. It should be a solid work knife. I hope to be opening up a deer with it in November.

Wilson Tactical is better know for their gunsmithing work, but Ryan is a wicked knife nut.
