I always go for matching if I can.

My personal rule is, if something like that doesn't match, then it's better to go with a contrasting material altogether.

Love it John! That brushed finish on the fittings is perfect. I myself too often go with a more shinny finish but I definitely need to take notes from you. Looks much better.
