Hey All,

I'm a big fan of the S.O.B ---- I love the ergos, the aesthetics, the knife specs, and how keen an edge it takes. I sharpened this at 19 degrees per side (38 degrees inclusive). It has an apex thickness of .5 microns and it shines. As great as this beautiful knife was when I got it --- she's a bit prettier and more serious now ;)

So I'll post mine --- now show me your S.O.B's ---- lets spread the S.O.B love . . .

Looking good Rob! I need to send you my hognose war sword for a mirrored edge when it shows up! Love the SOB, Great blade!

Love the SOB. Usually when I get a new knife I play with it for a couple of days and them put in the box with the rest of them, but I just can't put this blade away. It's just an awesome knife. Great ergos. Stout yet nimble. Just a perfectly well rounded package.

This was my first Busse, and I really like it! Trying to get a sheath made for it so it can be my EDC, but for now it lives in the truck.

Nice job! I like your style.

Here is one for the Sunday hogs.

Tell ya what fellas, all these super nice super tough knives make me feel we may be in a "golden age - era" of blades.
What with Busse and their phenomenally tough steels, Sal @ Spyderco with about every alphabet super steel ya can imagine.....its a good time to be involved...imo that is..

You very well might be right --- for a knife enthusiast --- this is a fantastic era.

I can't WAIT for the Hognose War Sword --- I genuinely think it'll be the ultimate chopper and ultimate all around camp/survival tool. Of course a mirror polished edge on that baby would take FOREVER --- but the sharpness level on such a beast is too enticing

Cannot wait for you to test the Hognose, MOAB, MOABOLO, WTF, Huck or Huck Fin, ASHBM, Basic 13 (if released) and even the AK-47 (which is also a sword) and others to see what the Ultimate Chopper is. Anxiously awaiting your results

The handle looks particularly well-rounded. I never really cared for the brick pattern on mine. Did yours come that way, or did you reshape it yourself?

The original owner sanded off the brick pattern. I just did some final wet sanding and polishing to finish it up. I always looked past the sob because of the brick pattern. When I saw this one without the bricks for sale I fell in love with it.

Nice lookin' edge, Rob_Mob.
SOB LE #27 checking in. :)
