I looked at one today and I like the power asissted opening but dang they are expensive, anyone got any comments on them? Oh and Hi I am a new member of this forum.

hey wolf, welcome to the forums. i bought an sog powerlock and was very dissapointed in it. i found the tools to be flimsy and poorly designed,ie the chisel edge grind on the knife came so dull i could rub it on my hand without being cut,the scissors were not nearly as good as victorinox or gerber, the phillips driver is clearly a #1 instead of the ever popular #2.the saw is not as aggressive as the vic or the leatherman,and due to the compound leverage pliers you need to open your hand much wider than the other popular multi tools out there.imho the super leatherman tool rules the pack and that comes from an electrician that uses and abuses the tool daily. sorry to be so long winded. high
