Offered for sale is a mint, early unused Hunter by Steve Johnson. Made in the early 90's, and deep-chisel engraved by Australian master engraver Damien Connolly. (He is an fascinating story in and of himself. Google him, and read about his 40 years of inimitable creativity and artistic accomplishments. You won't be disappointed.)

3.5" blade, 7.25" overall. I have no scales here with which to weigh it, but this knife is feather light. Fit, finish, and balance are predictably superb. Slabs make it very tactile.

The photos do a disservice to the depth and quality of the engraving. I've had several of the best pre-WW2 Austrian stalking rifles in existence, and the engraving on this knife is highly reminiscent. Whitetail deer on one side, pronghorn antelope on the other. Best sambar stag, elegant taper, and engraved pins. Signed by engraver.

Price is $2375.

Not really interested in any trades right now, unless you want my knife + cash in trade toward a mint, fairly priced Busse BOSC-ID dagger, or I'd take a mint Busse Long Hawkeye dagger in partial exchange.

First unconditional " I'll take it " posted here gets the knife.

Payment via PayPal Goods & Services. I reserve the right to sell to whomever I choose.

Price inclusive of trackable, insured USPS shipping and PayPal fees. CONUS shipping only.

PLEASE KEEP THE THREAD CLEAN. Direct message me any questions, requests for further photos, or offers, please. If you are not a paying member, post your contact email here and I'll get back to you.

Buyer must be 18 years of age, and is responsible for compliance with any Federal, state, or local knife laws.
