S. Shiffer Choctaw Forge Bowie FS

Steve Shiffer (Choctaw Plantation Forge) calls this one the ‘Red Stick Fighter’ but it looks and feels more like a bowie to me.
7” hand rubbed blade of 3/16” stock O1 steel. About 12” overall length.
Absolutely gorgeous burl wood handles with red liners—perfectly matched and a slight palm swell. The handles and the forward hilt make for a knife that feels great in the hand.
Knife is full tang and has superb file work on the spine.
Fit and finish is top notch on this one.
Full grain leather sheath with the medallion decoration on it—very nicely done.
Knife is near mint++, with a couple carbon spots on the blade and perhaps some very faint storage marks if you look hard enough. Never used, carried, or re-sharpened.
This knife is listed on his site for $375.
