I've been carrying and playing with my FL-2 a lot since I got it and have noticed the exact same thing. Mine is now easier to open but that detent still kicks butt.
 
I've been carrying mine frequently. While it has smoothed out considerably, the detent still holds the blade safely closed. The pass around apparently had some handle screws loosen, I have yet to experience that. I have to say that for the $$$ this is a good knife.

It fills a void until we can talk Camillus into making a bigger version of the EDC. ;)
 
Sound all favourable news on the knife - I think I will get one soon for use as EDC, seem to be value for money.
