Big fan of my older hollow ground UKPKs and my ffg Urban. Been holding off on the ffg UKPK for a while, hoping for a different color. The dark blue looks great and I guess the steel is ok.

It's scheduled for FRN. I've carried the proto quite a bit. Really like it. We've had some issues with the handles so production is a bit behind.

Two things Sal,

First, thank you for giving us a ukpk with amazing steel. Many of us are incredibly excited for this.

Second, what do you do with your personal protos once a knife is released? Do you have a huge collection of them, do you give them away, use them continuously for data points?

I have more than one UKPK and wanted to like it so much....unfortunately the spring retention was pretty pathetic in my experience. The blade would constantly fold on me. Hopefully this model is improved...
